Welham Green and Brookmans Park share AL9, so when we say local we mean the next village along, not a marketing line. We are about four minutes up the road.
The village itself is small: the shops around Dixons Hill Road, the station, and a lot of people who work elsewhere. What people forget is the other half of Welham Green, the units and yards off Marshmoor and Station Road where a surprising amount of real trade happens.
Those businesses are almost invisible online. Search for most of what they do and you get Hatfield firms, Potters Bar firms, or a national directory that will sell your enquiry to three people at once.
That is a gap rather than a problem. Very few AL9 businesses have a website that says where they are properly, so the ones that do tend to move up quickly and stay there.

Because we make our money on the monthly fee rather than a big build cost up front. It is a pay monthly website: you pay nothing for the design and build, then a flat monthly amount that covers hosting, the domain, security, backups and your content updates. Usually we would rather rebuild it, and since the build is free that costs you nothing. Send us the link and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth keeping or starting again.
That is what we build it for, but nobody can promise a Google position. The advantage here is that hardly any AL9 business has its site set up for local search, so naming the village and getting your Google Business Profile straight often does a lot on its own.
You do, once you finish the 24 month term. Then it is yours to take anywhere. Cancel before that and the site comes down, so it is worth being clear on from the start. Your domain is always yours though, whatever happens. We never take ownership of it.
