Cuffley businesses
A village that empties at eight and searches at seven.
Cuffley runs on the Moorgate line. A good chunk of the village is on a train before nine, which means the local businesses here are found in the evening, on a phone, on the sofa, not at lunchtime on a laptop.
The shops and services along Station Road get the passing trade. Everybody else, the trades, the therapists, the tutors and the one man firms working out of a garage on the Ridgeway, gets found on Google or not at all.
The problem is that EN6 searches are shared with Potters Bar, which is bigger, louder and has more businesses shouting for the same words. A Cuffley firm that never says Cuffley on its website simply disappears into that.
Saying it plainly, on a page built for the phone somebody is actually holding, is most of the fix. It is also the bit almost nobody round here has bothered to do.

Because we make our money on the monthly fee rather than a big build cost up front. It is a pay monthly website: you pay nothing for the design and build, then a flat monthly amount that covers hosting, the domain, security, backups and your content updates. Usually we would rather rebuild it, and since the build is free that costs you nothing. Send us the link and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth keeping or starting again.
That is what we build it for, but nobody can promise a Google position. What helps here is being specific: name Cuffley rather than just EN6, get your Google Business Profile pointing at the right page, and stop competing with Potters Bar for words that were never yours.
You do, once you finish the 24 month term. Then it is yours to take anywhere. Cancel before that and the site comes down, so it is worth being clear on from the start. Your domain is always yours though, whatever happens. We never take ownership of it.
